Yvonne Cherrie alias Monalisa as she is famously known is an ambassador of The African Film Festival (TAFF). With such appointment comes a responsibility whereby Monalisa is supposed to attempt at the local level of film industry a number of activities that are geared to support the development of the industry, and to carry out TAFF's mission of providing free Film Workshops to underserved aspiring filmmakers in various countries. She therefore developed Act with Monalisa to mentor and support young Tanzanian women with acting career guidance and a platform to showcase their talents.
